Active Scotland would like to announce to all our supporters that our wakeboarding event has had to be changed to the following dates this year.

WakeScot 2010 will now be held on the weekend of the 14th / 15th August. Our wakeboarding event is about the development of the sport and riders.

Last year saw our wakeboarding coaching clinics work with several riders from 6 weeks to 1 week and then enter the event with all achieving great things on the water. Our commitment to the local community we live and work in is shown again by our constant promotion of Lochearnhead as a place to enjoy, for everyone!

A key part of our commitment to the area and the event last year was the introduction of The Jamie MacGregor Cup. Something both Directors and the local community felt very fitting to have in place. The Jamie MacGregor Cup will be up for grabs again at WakeScot 2010 on the 14th August. 

As the only event, not just on Loch Earn but in Scotland which is organised as an associated and approved event through the governing bodies we hope you will come and support us.

WakeScot is held on Loch Earn in Lochearnhead which is in the Stirlingshire area of Central Scotland.
